The October 2005 exhibition of "Special Treatment" for (IM)PERMANENCE: CULTURES IN/OUT OF TIME at the Center for the Arts in Society(CAS) at Carnegie Mellon University provided for interesting discussion of the role of virtual recreation.

In June 2005, Applied Interactives premiered "Synthecology" for WIRED's NEXTFEST2005 at Navy Pier. Nearly 30,000 people came to experience the festival and check out "Synthecology"

Our January 2005 showing of "Special Treatment" at the (art)n gallery was a huge success. Approximately 150 people from local schools, media, and not-for-profits filed through to experience "Special Treatment."
